G-POWER Supercharger System for BMW M5 and M6 V10

Supercharged BMW engines have many years of tradition at G-POWER. As early as in the 80ies, the legendary BMW G3 Bi-Turbo with 430 hp was developed on the basis of the 3 Series BMW E30, resulting from the collaboration with Alpina (from 1973-1983); today, the spearhead of the programme is the G-POWER M5 V10 HURRICANE RS with BI-Kompressor system and 750 hp, which, with a maximum speed of 228,3 mph, has held the world record as the fastest sedan since late 2008.

The here offered G-POWER BI-Kompressor system is a direct offspring from the 750 PS supercharger system of the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS, but unlike the system of the world record car, the BI-Kompressor system features 0,4 bar (5,8 psi) boost instead of 0,8 bar (11,5 psi). This so called “soft charging” enables us to use the factory engine without any modifications, like compression reducing pistons or modified conrods.

All G-POWER supercharger systems have the unrestricted everyday practicability of the modified engines combined with an improved specific consumption and the BMW-typical reliability in common.

Characteristic product features:
- Supercharger from the well-known German original equipment supplier ASA
- Engine running characteristics and everyday practicability are maintained without restrictions
- Vehicle remains completely diagnosable
- Technical inspection and service at your own BMW distributor possible
- Economical consumption with respect to performance increase

G-POWER M5 V10 BI-Kompressor system - plus 93 hp
Basis: M5 V10, 507 PS (373 kW) increased to 600 PS (441 kW)/600 Nm
consisting of:

Forced induction: 2 x ASA T1-313 superchargers including overrunning clutch ASA K05; supercharger lubrication through bypass from motor oil circuit; twin ultra stiff CNC shaped supercharger bracket systems made from aluminium including an extended support aggregate belt drive for the superchargers' drive; two pneumatic controlled, engine load related valves for the boost control; twin flow optimized, large volumetric fresh air intakes made from carbon fibre; twin racing air filters. Boost level approx. 6 psi rel.

Intercooling: Twin high capacity, aero and body-sonic optimized intercooler systems using a low temperature circuit consisting of a low temperature intercooler (air to water) in the car's front and two return intercooler (boost to water) on top of the engine, right in front of the throttle valves, cooling liquid storage and separately controlled electrical pump.

Engine modification: 10 fuel injectors with enlarged mass flow.

Electronics: Custom made software for the standard BMW engine and SMG- transmission electronic control unit (BMW OBD stays completely untouched), enabling an unlimited top speed, according to the capacity of the tyres.
